We try to take walks. Although sometimes there is a lot of complaining (the new legwarmers have markedly improved Shmoogie's attitude, but we haven't found a solution for Mr. IntractablePants*, nor the pregnancy pains in my pelvic joints), we do try.
And while it is often grey and rainy this time of year, there are some clear-ish moments when walking along the high bluffs looking out to the sound is a really marvelous idea. Even Shmoogie and Mr. P recognized the beauty of last weekend's (or maybe it was two weeks ago?) walk, which in less than a mile gave us a luxurious array of lovely views. The city from Kerry Park:
