Mr. P is pleased that he is no longer the only child in the family who hasn't been to the hospital. (It was urgent care, really, but it is at the hospital, so we'll let that go.)
He had almost the same scooter accident as last month, but this time the chin really did need stitches (three of them; but there was less blood - strange, huh?) and two teeth were bloody, one of them oddly askew.
Things to be thankful for: He stayed calm the whole time. The urgent care is kids only and, thus, fantastic with kids. We got there just before it opened and had almost no wait. He didn't break his neck or get a concussion. Both kids clearly understand the importance of helmets at this point. I have no schooling or employment encumbrances, so even though I had other plans, taking him in last night and then to the dentist this morning was no big deal. Also, health and dental insurance. Milkshakes and chocolate pudding.
More tomorrow on school, I hope! I loved all your comments!
