The Olympics Approacheth

I don't know how many of you heard about the unfortunate dust up between the US Olympic Committee and Ravelry. In short, the USOC was rude, knitters were angry, and the Ravelympics are now the Ravellenic Games (I love that).

I don't think I'll be officially taking part, although there is a sweater project that would greatly benefit from the attention.

The better use of my time would probably be making serious headway on my next app, which IS a knitting app, but since there's no chance of a finished product in two weeks time, I'm feeling unmotivated. :(

Will you be doing anything olympically festive?

We're going to watch the opening ceremony at Frank and Christine's newly finished house. I'm thinking of bringing a red white and blue trifle. :)
